There appears to be an oil drip from the bottom of this cover.
The manual seems to be suggesting that I need a special tool to locate the cover when replacing the seal.
The engine is out of the boat so fairly easy to work on.
Has anyone any experience with this task and any tips?
I will have to remove the crankshaft pully, is this best achieved with a big spanner and a sharp blow with a big hammer or what?

The timing cover seal runs on the boss of the front pulley so you can use the front pulley to align the timing cover seal by loosly fitting the cover loosely fitting the pulley on the crank shaft before tightening the timing cover bolts.

The "special tool" is just a pulley boss without the pulley Vee grooves.
