I need to replace my grotty looking hull stripes this winter.

Can anyone recommend a supplier of these ?

I have a 14 year old Gib'Sea and am ideally looking for someone who can supply copies of the original Gib'Sea "thick blue, thin yellow, thin red" stripe.

Have you tried a good car accessory shop? More the type that sell alloy wheels, tarting up kits etc rather than Halfords.

Hi Capricorn
I have an early Moody with the wide dark blue narrower grey. When we bought her about 6 years ago she looked very neglected. To Moodys credit she eventually cleaned up like a new pin, however the striping looked pants... touched up by hand from a dingy etc.
Funds were low so after some enquiries to Moodys decide to take a picture of the boat to a good local sign company. The results were great, and far cheaper than we thought, and that included the upturn at the stern and the Moody logo within the blue stripe. The vynil has worn well except for some minor snicks ( mostly getting into those damn Dutch "box" moorings) which we have touched in with a dab of matching Humbrol. I would certainly use the same again.
good luck
