I want to replace my old Canpa hatch (600x600mm) on my '80 Sigma 33.
Does anybody have experience in doing this? I was told a Lewmar Ocean 60 is most likely to fit, but do I need to reconstruct the cut-out?

I replaced mine with a Lewmar Ocean on a Vancouver 27. The only problem was the old bolt holes that showed slightly outside the edge of the new Lewmar hatch - I filled them with gel coat repair paste. I didn't have to change the size of the cut- out but I did re-line the vertical sides of the hatch opening with 4 new bits of mahogany.

Hi Gert, I replaced one of those on my Kelt, but went up a size. I had to hacksaw and
use a rasp to make the hole a bit bigger. Try a company called Sea-Teach they
advertise in PBO they keep a selection of hatches, some at discount prices.
Regards, Phil
