Replacement wheel for selden vang

Where do I get one of these ?

The wheel thing at the top of the vang has disintegrated!

Can you make out a part number on it? I think I see part of a number by one of the breaks in your picture.

The similar wheels at the clew of my boom had numbers moulded in the side and Aladdin's Cave Rigging at Bursledon were easily able to order more (as could, I assume, any chandler with an account with Selden).

Unfortunately no part number, there is a 3 but the rest of it is in fragments

You call it a "wheel thing" which had me puzzled. I guess though that its the sheave ?

If so you should be able to work out the part number and order one.

Aladdins cave at Burselden were very helpful when trying to replace sheaves 40 yr old they have a large box of varying sheaves to go through.

It's sometimes possible to strip a block to obtain a sheave.
