Suffered a bit of storm damage last week and need a new stanchion. At first sight it's the very common 620mm high 2 wire one, 25mm OD at the base, tapered above the first wire and with a solid top.
However the ones in the local chandler, probably from ECS or Aquafax, are 23mm ID at the base. On my boat (Dehler) the stanchion goes not into a 25mm socket but onto a male spigot base which is 22mm dia and the 23mm tube is too wobbly. It also means the wall thickness is only 1mm against the original 1.5mm.

Can anyone tell me who produces or supplies a 22mm ID one please? I've looked at lots of websites and can't find that detail.

(I can try the agent next week but they will almost certainly need to refer to Hanse and as this is a pre-Hanse boat it may well be different so I would prefer to hear from someone who has been through this!)
