I have a pair of Gibb genoa cars that are in good shape apart from the plastic sheaves - which are finished.

Anybody succeeded in replacing the sheaves or know where new sheaves and the associated rivet/spindle and bearings can be sourced?

Sheaves are approx. 50mm O/D and 32mm wide and car fits 32mm track.

Thanks

You could try googling for 'The Chandlery Barge' at Bursledon who may have either the identical cars or the rollers themselves; perhaps too they may have some Delrin or Nylon bar in the sizes you need, perhaps even some Bow rollers may fit at 2" diameter too.Drilling out the spindle you may need a cobalt drill bit and constant pressure with lots of lubrication(for the drilling that is!) then a s/s bolt and locking nut to suit.
If there is a plastics factor near you then the Delrin/Nylon may be stocked more locally, and may have machining facilities also.
