replacement outboard bracket

The outboard bracket on my old, secondhand, but sound, Avon suddenly disintegrated this weekend.
I believe the Avon is a Redstart (it is very small and light, no wooden or slatted floor).
Any suggestions as to where I could buy a replacement?
Or ideas about effecting a repair?

Replacements can be bought from most chandlers, you may have to order though, or try the second hand market.

to repair them depends on what has broken, if it's the wood then it is just a piece of marine ply. if it's the metal you will need a welder.
