The MCB/RCD fitted into the electrical control panel on my 1996 failrine phantom 40 is faulty - nothing happens when I press the test button. The thing is marked with GE's logo and is a B40A with part number v/301-140031 616208 - 240 volt.
Has anybody any ideas where I can get a replacement please
Roger

As sailor man said, any electrical factor shop should be able to supply one or equivalent from a different manufacturer. It is most likely standard DIN rail mount.

Tip: Bring the old one with you and hand it to some knowledgeble looking person in an electrical factors and they'll sort you out /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Scroll down here and there are GE RCD's.

Your local City Electrical will normally have same or similar, they are a standard size between makes so all will fit. or should. Check the part number when buying though, as a standard RCD does not have MCB function, but there used to be, probably still is, a combined RCD / MCB, so you may have one. Combined RCD/MCB trip on fault and over current, RCD's on fault only.
