Replacement injectors for Volvo D1-13A / D1-20A (#3801339)

Hi there,

on a Volvo marine engine D1-20A in the past I have changed the fuel injectors (part no. #3801339). But they are too expensive. Is there a cheaper fuel injector that fits from another engine? Has anyone tryed to use maybe the Perkins injector: #131406480?

I've rarely found injectors to be defective so I would suggest having them tested first, which is usually free from a diesel injection specialist. It's very likely the injectors can be replaced with cheaper automotive ones, I've no idea what engine but again a diesel injection specialist may be able to tell you.
