Some time ago I asked for advice on where to buy a replacement glass for our oil lamp. At the time I did not have the broken one to hand and was unable to measure the diameter/height etc. I now have it but cannot recall the suggested venues where a replacement might be bought.

Sorry for being so stupid, but I would now welcome any advice offered.

Next time the Vital Spark is near Troon, you may find the chandler there has one in stock. I bought a spare glass chimney from them 3 or 4 years ago for my Fastnet type lamp, for about a fiver.

I ordered one from Nauticalia which appears to be the very thing - £4.99 but the postage was also £4.99!!!

If we're being parsimonious Scots... I've a couple lying at home, which you could have had for the postage :D
I did PM you the dimensions the last time you posted about them :p

season's best
