Apologies because I know this subject has come up before.
If you were replacing a cooker and cooking was important to those onboard would the new cooker be a Force 10 (2 burner due to space) and where would you buy it from?

My SWMBO says yes!

Definitely from the cheapest source! get an idea before the boat show and then break somebodies arm at the show.

No. We considered a Force 10 as most of our sailing is full time cruising. However, having looked at them in detail we decided we didn't like the grill arrangement as it was inside the oven and far too small IOHO.

Yes they are well made, but not worth the extra money when measured against other makes. Strangely, in the context of our major refit, the purchase of the new cooker took a hell of a time, but in the end we went for the Nelson Spinflo.

We used it for the first time this season and are completely delighted with it.

I expect you've looked at these too, but I reckon they'd be worth a second look, especially as you could buy two Spinflo's for the same money or, put another way, spend half as much!!

We have also bought the Nelson by Spinflow 18 months ago (We live aboard several months a year) and are very pleased with a) Construction b) looks and c) use. Most of our cookers on this and previous boats either didn't work very well or were difficult to clean or both.
