Replacement cartridge for General Ecology Seagull water purifier

We're having difficulty locating a replacement General Ecology Seagull water purifier cartridge for our on board drinking water. Please can anybody help? The previous distributors seem to have gone out of business or lost the concession.

We are currently trying to buy a complete unit and finding it very difficult.... pure water are no longer distributors .

A distributor was involved in placing lower specification filters in items sold in the UK.

Yes - the source that you have identified was the only UK distributor. They now have very limited remaining stock and unfortunately this does not include the replacement cartridge that we need for our set up -

I will contact General Ecology in the US to see what they can do.

I'm glad I bought a spare cartridge when I fitted the unit last season.
I'd be glad to know where one can get one now.

Yes, I was trying to buy an entire unit earlier this season but found them impossible to source in UK. They are still available from French distributor but at nearly double the price.

Seems unlikely that anyone would turn down business, but here is the information requested by the OP, for obtaining rep;lacement from the US (the cost after VAT and duty may be greater but the term "samples" saves that.

Have this week dealt with them direct ...nice efficient people......I bought the new version which is cheaper by a lot ......filter doesn't last quite so long.
225 Dollars..66 for spare filter..69 for transport to Trinidad it would be a few dollars more for Uk.

Greenscombe, I have two unused 400009 filters still in their original packaging if you would like to buy them for a mutually agreeable price. I bought a small stock but no longer use the GE filter as the sealing plastic thing snapped whilst in the filter and I have no way of opening it. PM me if you're interested.
