I've been trying to find a source for new cams for the main sheet fiddle on our sadler 25.
A couple of years ago we replaced the main sheet and the new one sometimes slips in the cams; the new main sheer is a bit less "furry" than the old one. Inspection reveals that the cams are quite worn. The "triangular" bracket bears an inscription "Main England". The cams can be replaced and it seems a shame to have to buy a whole new fiddle when the cams could be replaced ; if I could find them :)

I've attached a picture for reference.

Any pointers gratefully received.

Cheers

I dont think Main exist now.

Any handy second hand places in your area ?

May be worth comparing with other current makes to see if a complete cam cleat assembly could be made to fit

I had the same problem with my main and kicking strap.

Don't bother trying to fix or replace the old cams, you will probably find you can dismantle them leaving only the backplate in place. You can then get some new cams which come ready fixed to their own plate, which can then be bolted on. As per VicS above.

This sort of stuff is often found (for some inexplicable reason) laid out on the ground, on old tablecloths, at Boat Jumbles. If that fails chandlers sell them new, something like this:
