it just occured to me browsing the forums that a lot of these questions must repeat every so often as more of the "newbys" appear on line (including myself)
and those of you who read it must get tired of the same old stuff, although new queries come up all the time.
is there a way out ?
maybe a major heading for newbies like me. yes i know we have search engine but some of us dont know where to start.
just a thought and thinking someone brighter might have a answer with out the useless crappie quick remarks.

Yes, I've often thought about this too, but came to the conclusion that, for the very reason you mention - 'although new queries come up all the time' - it's better to deal with similar 'repeat' queries afresh each time. Ok, there are loads of posts I don't respond to unless I think I might be able to offer a different slant, or something is stated that is IMHO clearly incorrect. But often a 'newbie' (or others)will come up with a terrific new idea for doing something that I thought I knew all about.

These forums are brilliant at that, and it is seldom a week, or even a day, goes by without I learn something new - and I've owned boats for nearly fifty years!

cheers
Jerry
