repairing pressure gauge for Taylor\'s paraffin heater

Any ideas of how to repair this please? There is a small hole on the inside of the copper (?) 'bladder' of this gauge? It can be seen at the proximal end to the right of the white plastic part.

I don't think I would risk soft soldering it. If it failed again it would be a nuisance. A skilled person might be able to silver solder it but the heat might affect the calibration. It is very possibly a copper beryllium alloy.

This is the spares web site and although not listed it might be worth contacting them

I have a Taylors 030L oven and similar tank set up etc, and I agree with Vics do not mess with Paraffin and buy a new guage!

As Duncan says it does not have to come from Taylors take the old gauge off and shop around for an equivent unit.

Thanks Vics for the spares web site!

Thanks. Fortunately John Gardner of taylorsheatersandcookers.co.uk thinks he can supply a replacement. meanwhile, I took a nice picture of the innards of the gauge and can't work out how to attach it to this post
