I have a PVC Zodiac C240. It's internal baffle has gone.

Has anyone repaired an internal baffle?

How did you go about it and how successful was it?

Getting a professional job done is going to be more expensive than buying a new dinghy:(

So unless I find a DIY solution it will be a case of using it as it is or replacing it.

Thanks for the input.

How fast does the baffle leak, how far do you intend going in it, when and with who and how quickly will it deflate if holed?

Quickly.
To and from yacht on mooring, 200 yards.
Tend not to use when choppy.
Adults.
Depends how big the hole is.

So; life jackets and more thought as to the consequences of losing whatever we're carrying.

I never understood why people want to flog faulty kit to people rather than bin it.

I have bought and sold many items that were faulty in one way or another. In the case of the dinghy I was about to set off long term cruising, for which I wanted a new one, but the risk of one burst baffle is one many people are prepared to take for coastal or inland cruising.

I suspect those are innocent people that have never bumped a dink into a rusty ladder.
