Anyone know if it is possible to repair a split in a fender and how to do it. The 'fender' in question is a Fenda-step which has a split in the side about 20mm long. Thanks for any suggestions

How about putting and smearing across a good amount of polyurethane sealent. By the way this stuff sets and is waterproof I would have thought it would work on your fender, IMHO anyway. Its only a couple of quid aswell, so if it didn't work theres no real loss.

Just a thought.

Would the same method as used on Doc Martins boots work? heat a old blade and melt the two pieces together ?

Assuming you are not going to be using this as a fender, you could consider filling it with closed cell foam.

Brill idea, I have a few burst ones well valves anyhow. Mingin they are, very old, but I am going to do this and fix them permanently to my tender.

5 minute job, excellent.
