Not being very mechanical I'm going to buy a repair manual to help me overhaul my Honda outboard. I can find two publications on the net one by Seloc and the other by Clymer.
Both are similary priced, has anyone used either of these manuals and if so which is the most comprehensive, or do you have any other recommendations?

If you are not very mechanical and the motor is not broken then what are you trying to achieve? Just flush the cooling system with fresh water from time to time, clean and adjust the spark plug, grease the grease nipples, stop the engine at the end of the day by turning off the petrol tap to let the carb run dry and don't leave old fuel in the tank over winter.

Never used the Clymer outboard manuals but found their motorcycle publications second to none. Mike.
