My fenders have rubbed through in a few places. Spraying is verbotten in the boatyard. I've looked for a roller type applicator without success. (They are too thin and for pin-striping) And I'd rather avoid using a brush for obvious reasons. What are my options to get a good finish without carting the boat off to a specialist workshop?

I've though about that along the lines of getting a vinyl wrap. But my mooring is in a strong current and I fear the fenders will make short work of it.

If its paint you could try masking off with good quality none leaching tape then apply paint with a rad roller with a foam head. We decorators use them on doors/flat panels and get a v good finish. Remember to remove the tape before the paint dries or you may pull some of the paint off with it. failing that an airbrush

you could tie wrap paint brushes with different colors on each one, spaced right to BIG WOW and get him to go past you at 20 knots

Thanks guys. I'll give Jenny Brushes a go.

John, Roy just threw in 20 kts as a Freudian slip. He'll blow another head if he tries for that speed again.
