Husband, 2 children and I would like to hire a boat for a week at Easter next year, in Florida, probably Gulf coast, or Keys, but open to ideas as to the best places, as would also like to go diving. Has anyone done this? Does anyone know of any good companies to contact? This is the only way I can lure him across the seas to Disney for the 2nd week, and away from our own precious boat for a couple of weeks.

Keys better for diving, Gulf coast better for cruisin' in peace and quiet. Key West a lot of fun, but a long drive(~370 miles) from Disney. Agree with other comment - Disney first, cruise/dive second. AW/Gulf Coast

I'll be at Disney next Easter so may see you there! If you read the 'Unofficial guide to Disney' you can hire a private deck boat at Epcot to see the illumunations. Sadly that's as near to a boat as I'll probably get!

We were at Epcot last Friday. Very few people there. Haven't been for about 8 years but enjoyed it as much as ever. Firework show at 9.30pm spectacular. B---dy expensive: $51 each for one day. Would hate to have to take a whole family to all the parks. Almost a down payment on a new boat!

Thanx everyone for your ideas, sorry I had to go and leave you all for a while, then when I got back we kept on having power cuts. I honestly hadn't noticed the holidays link!!! Silly me, but am now running off the details. My brother has managed to get flights to Atlanta, I think, then a short hop onwards for under £500 he tells me, but I know I might have to get a move on. Sadly, we're going to have to boat it first, then disney, because of other commitments, ie see brother and then of course it's back to school.
