Rene Tremblere \'excusez-moi\'

Spoke to Rene briefly the other night - a bit difficult due to his limited grasp of English - but apparently because of some complicated Gallic love triangle with Mme Tremblere and Mme Surcouf he will be unable to make the Chentleman's Cruise in April, instead ensconced in the Port de Fleetwood.
Will this damage Anglo-Franco-Scottish relations?

Re: Rene Tremblere \'excusez-moi\'

That will be a great disappointment for so many people. Indeed, Mme Sgeir was just telling me how much she was looking forward to the next Chentleman's Cruise. It would be such a loss, and, of course, there are the sensibilities of the good people of Colonsay to consider...

I do hope that M Tremblaire will ba able to make the voyage north.

(EDIT - DELETE THE FOLLOWING: Mony a sou maks a franc. All that way....

Surely the big jessie can sail her back up in April, or is there a concern that Count von Eberspächer may not be in attendance?

Alors - my young friend - it is, how you say, not impossible that I make it on your Gentlemen's cruises. Mon vieux ami, the bold Claymore has spoken with me already of the plans he has for the winter an I am delighted to have been invited to pilot his fine craft to the north. He speaks also of the loveley Madamoiselle Charlotte - she sounds formidable - but this Sgeir - he is the one with the large ears, n'est-ce pas? In my beloved Bretagne, the old men who stand by the quay in the evenings and speak of events of the day will often talk of the men with the big ears - around here they are seen as the very devils.

Zut! Mois je suis tellment neuf a ces forums - mais c'est vraiment certain que le grand gentilhomme avec les oreilles magnifiques est bien connu entre mes amis francais! Aussi l'annexe flippy-floppy de Claymûr!
