Hi
The gearbox started to serge a bit and then finally gave up the ghost, still works in rev., though. I have stripped the thing and can't actually see anything wrong but saying that I've never seen inside one before. The double male cone (brass) looks good apart from slight flattening of the bit that holds onto the female cones. The inside of the female cone is very highly polished. The only other thing I can see is slight wear in the needle bearing in the F cone.
Can anyone help please I have been paying good dosh out to have it done and have got no where hence having a go myself now.
