removing the tv

Factory would try to help but ideally you need the name of the person you want to speak to. To be fair it is unlikely the telephone operator will know the name of the fit out foreman on the p43 line

The mount used will not be the type Portofino describes, for sure

Have you tried the suggestions above and found they don't work? I can't be sure without going on a boat but I'm very confident about the ball catches

(Petem, yep it's a pity they're gold, haha! I make an exception to the no-gold doctrine for these because they are such a useful way to mount certain panels. They are not readily available in silver. They are out of sight of course!)

There's a mount out there - rigid whereby the TV is clipped onto a horizontal H frame .one part attached to the wall/ boat other screwed to Tv - press fit -click on you can slide it L+ R ,but not vertical or swing / angle -designed to mount them in tight places like that .
To remove look underneath ( ie remove that draw ) approx 20 cm in from the end you will see or feel two straps hanging down , they look like plastic ladders -
Pull these two down 2-3 cm and the clip will unclip at the bottom - enabling you to lift it out / access the wires / plug in new divice etc .
Of course many mounts out there .

+1

Dont remove the mount from the back of the cupboard, you may as well use it for the new TV, they usually have a standard fitting ( 4 x machine screws)
I dont think you need to remove the draw, you should be able to pull the straps from the side. try taking a photo with your phone to see the bracket behind.

Its been a few years but I did plenty of these with Fairline Essex.

Look/feel under the TV, on the horizontal section that faces down to the cabinet below - you will feel/see 2 x black screw caps. These are pushed into recessed screw holes - a knife edge under these will flick them out. Get a stubby, 'pozi' head screwdriver or right angle screwdriver and remove these screws. The TV is bolted through onto the black melamine faced plywood using the normal TV fittings (VESA?). By removing the aforementioned screws from underneath, the whole thing (TV & back board) can be pulled out, pulling from the bottom first, then you'll see the top is just slotted into a space in the surround. Depending on the amount of slack/over use of cable ties at build (delete as appropriate!), you should be able to remove the connections from the TV and put it to one side. You'll see a huge space behind here which is empty other than the TV booster (white unit with a red LED)

The drawer front below is a blanking cover, and covers a shelf that is used for the Bose option if taken. JFM is almost right, as those sort of fittings are used to hold it in place, but I think they are a plastic version of what he suggested and pictured. To remove this either push something non marking between the gap & lever it out, but risk damaging the lacquer on the 'drawer front' or the rest of the surround. The other way is to remove the storage unit below the shelf (or fridge if that option is fitted), get your arm around the end of the shelf and push it from the inside (have someone ready to catch it as it falls to avoid damage). If the storage unit below the shelf is fitted then locate the screw caps similar to those described in the TV removal wording and the whole thing will slide out - they'll be a good few around the edge, top & bottom. I'd suggest removing the door to avoid damage if going down this road. Finally, be careful of the heater pipes that will be running around the void in the back as these are easily crushed if working in that area.

Good luck!

Andy
