Appreciate a few people on here own these and some have cut down the shaft from long trolling motor length to something more suitable for a tender. I cut the one on ours but now need it longer. Has anyone successfully removed the entire shaft? The control end is easy enough to take off but the connection to motor itself does not have an obvious way to remove?
