What's the best way for removing antifoul. The easy way is to have it sand blasted off - have just been quoted £200!! - and it's only a little 20fter. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif The hard way is with a scraper. Is there anything you can put over the antifoul to loosen it first.

Any suggestions as to what to replace it with?

have a look at this

7 quid qa litre though, and a litre is only good for one square metre. Take length x breadth and multiply by 0.9. Add the cost of renting a spray thingy.

Dont like the sound of sand blasting. I think I would do it the hard way to be on the safe side.

£60!!

Are you sure? If so that's a real bargain, just over 2 quid a foot. They must have made a mistake, nothing's ever that cheap.

That's a bl..dy good price!!

Looks like it's down to the local swindlery and some hard work. The father-in-law is coming up to help so shouldn't take too long (I hope).

What type / brand of antifoul would you recommend - bearing in mind she going to be in the water probably all year?
