Removing Saab diesel for aqua jet electric or alternative c2 neutral

I’m collecting data for installing an aqua jet propulsion on a 12 m sailing trimiran. The Saab diesel motor 16 bhp has to go … make a great paper weight … ??? any experience shared will be gladly read … could do with chatting with someone in the aqua jet industry ? These are very good engine's, one of only a few designed especially for small boats and not marinised car or truck engines.

Thanks for the post38 mess . Totally an amazing piece of engineering and solid. in another time I would be singing praises to SABB .. but the climate issue is pressing and to be honest I’m sick of the taste ? of diesel ?. I would be happy to see someone making good use of this master piece . Would make an amazing generator .. just too heavy and dirty environmentally ?

They sell for good prices, sought after on canal boats I have been told.
