Dear All,
I notice lots of lime scale in the exhaust manifold of my MD2B.
I'm thinking of pouring a couple of liters of white vinegar in the manifold via the temp sensor opening, while blocking off the inlet after the impeller, and the outlet at the exhaust tube, and leaving it to soak for a time.

However: I'm not sure if filling up the manifold might flood the cilinders as well:
your advise here is much appreciated !!

THANKS,
V.

I think you would be best to take it right off.

I used brick acid on my VP exhaust manifold. I put wooden plugs in the outlets, filled it up and left it overnight. I then scraped around with a screwdriver to get as much of the now loosened stuff off, then filled it up again.
