Last week whilst returning boat to mooring I had fuel pressure alarm go off on a C32 engine. With 10 days before the start of my owners holiday I was to say the least very nervous.
First port of call, my Princess dealer. Leave it with me he said! Within 30 mins I had a phone call from an Italian representative of Caterpillar. "when would you like he engineer to visit your boat, tonight or tomorrow morning?". Hold on a minute I'm in Spain I said.... Make it 09:15 tomorrow thinking engineer will be there at 12:00.
To my amazement an engineer was on the dock waiting for me the following morning at agreed time. He quickly diagnosed fault and ordered a number of spare parts. Engineer returns Monday with new fuel pump and hey presto job done.
Throughout the event Caterpillar called me at least once a day to make sure I was happy with service.
Thanks Princess and Caterpillar for a fantastic service.
Best part of it all is owners trip still on schedule.
Cool
