Unsuprisingly the Goring & Streatley Regatta for tomorrow (21st) is cancelled. Details here and photos here:- http://www.goringgapbc.org.uk/

As a matter of interest the river level here at dusk was 8" below summer levels. Envag obviously are making room for the expected outflow.

Same up here at Clifton, went to look at the boat last night to check the ropes for the expected rise and found it was sitting on the bottom.

Anyone found access to telemetry from Water Authorities, Env Agency, apart from warning maps.

It would be v useful to look at flow rates and river heights remotely.

Should be a public service, after all it's not a commercial in confidence problem, but a public safety issue.

It is very high here at Staines, almost had our boat in the garden as the mooring is flooded. Have just moved her to next door's risers. But still about a foot below the worst over the winter.
