I am sure this has been gone over before, but I cannot find it on here, so I shall say I am sorry now!
I need to find a supplier of Glass, seals, and the tool to remove/replace the band in the porthole. My portholes are original fitting to boat and unfortunately became a bit 'pock marked' when the fore decks were cut out! So the glass needs replacing, okay I could just smash out the old glass, but I would still need the 'key' or whatever to tighten up the retaing band when replacing with new glass, also need the seals. I asked the guy at Eagle Boat Windows when he refurbished my other windows but it was not something he had been asked to undertake before so he did not have the tools. So any one know where I can get the tools and seals.
Thanks in advance.

Just to clarify;
Portlights open, Deadlights don't

I thought a deadlight was the internal solid hinged cover used to cover scuttles/portholes e.g near the waterline or in bad weather of ships

Thank you very muchly !
Just the type of thing I had in mind, but can any one help with the 'key' or similar tool that is needed to loosen/tighten the inner locking ring?
