Refilling calorifier after emptying

I've just removed and replaced the PRV on my calorifier having drained 40 litres of water out. Can forumites advise - do I just let the pump now refill the tank with the hot taps open ? I'm trying to avoid an air lock.

Yes, just turn the pump on and open a hot tap. It fills from the bottom and exits the top, so no chance of airlock
This happens several times per year in my motorhome when the calorifier dumps its water due to frost temperature.

The output should be higher than the input so I can't see that an airlock could form .... but, in any case, there's no other sensible option.
