Reefing Hardware

Can anyone tell me where is a good source of reefing hardware. Specifically I would like some reefing horns attached to a bolt which goes through the gooseneck. Rig-rite in the States sell the kind of thing I want here rig-rite
All I can find is the Barton stuff. Its for a Halcyon 27. Currently I have an eye bolt (12mm I think) with a carbine hook.

Barton sell those Reefing horns, they are fine. Also consider Wichard tack hooks but may be difficult to fit - the biggest advantage is that you hook it on and it doesn't fall off when you start hauling up the main again! A big advantage when you are shorthanded.

Hi, ADG Metal Workers at Port Edgar made me reefing hooks a couple of years ago. Alex (a partner in the business) is a sailor himself and a very helpful guy.

2nd for Barton. I just found a pair in the local swindlery when I converted by roller boom to slab a couple of winters ago.

Hooks are bent rod & welded to a drilled plate .
