Reefing gear question

I had finger jammers on the last boat, they were very secure.
Cam cleats were on this boat, not at all secure! I have to make off to a cleat to be certain they won,t slip, they are just not positive enough.
I am thinking of taking them of and replacing with standard cleats. Bill.

I just have plain cleats: inexpensive, do not jam, easy to cast off and nothing to go wrong.

Good system! Bill.

The best system is to bring the reefing lines down to the cabin top then to the cockpit. There you will have an array of cleats and will want to match existing cleats. However the old horn cleats are the best.
