Hi, I am part of a team that is going to try to set an official Guinness World Record for the most number of reef knots tied by a team of two within one hour. In order to officially qualify our record we need two people who are completely independent to come along and observe us tying reef knots for an hour and complete a simple witness statement. At the last minute one of our witnesses has dropped out, and so I am urgently looking for a replacement!

We are attempting the record at Calshot activity centre this Saturday between 1100 and 1200. Can you help us? Do you know anybody who could help?

We have raised nearly £4,000 for the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust which you can see here: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/OneDLL

And there is a little more info about us and our challenge here: https://www.clipperroundtheworld.co...orld-record-attempt-will-be-at-speed-of-knots

Please feel free to forward around, or get in touch if you would like any further information. Thanks for any help you might be able to provide!

Kind regards, John.

In a shameless attempt to push this thread higher up the forum - Just to mention I am still looking for help at Calshot activity centre tomorrow morning!

Come and watch us, and help us achieve a world record, all in aid of a very worthy charity.

If you can help, please reply!

Many thanks!
