Wonder what the criteria is for an entry to this Marina Guide?

Watchet is not in it, but Sharpness is. To my mind the former would justify inclusion, but the latter I would doubt. It is mostly used by inland waterway boats, and appears to have few facilities needed for sea going boaters - no lift-outs being one example.

If Sharpness could be included, then so should be Upton-on-Severn. May be far from the sea, but plenty of large boats kept there.

I think you are referring to the large 'Almanac' - with which the much smaller 'Marina Guide' is usually sold as a package.

Not sure it would be a good plan to try and reduce the size of that - they could issue smaller regional editions, for those of us who might not intend to visit say Scotland or Ireland, but I would leave it as it is.

I look upon this "Bible" as good value - specially if it is purchased at a discount, as most are.
