I saw an LED chart table light at the London boat show in Jan and thought "ooh, that's nice I'll have one of those for the new boat". The trouble is, I'm buggered if I can remember the name of the stall or the manufacturer.

The one I saw was about 10 inches long and featured alternate red & white LED's and was switchable, red only or white only.

Does anyone know where one could be found?

Thanks in advance.

I have just fitted a red only LED bar type nav table light - adjustable angle, very effective - easily bright enough for chartwork, and bathes the whole cabin in a warm red glow. Draws about 200mA, I think.

Bought it from a car accessory shop - the sort of light boy racer prats stick in their back windows.

I've just bought for £1.99 a pair of bike lamps - a red and a white one. I'll test it tonight when I get home and fit some batteries. For that sort of price I won't lose much if it's no good. I also bought an LED headlamp for £1.99 inc 3 x AAA batteries. I'll report back tomorrow after I've tested them.
