I am off for a week of sailing next weekend.
The plan is to first go to Calais via Ramsgate, but then I have the option to either turn right or turn left.
Turn right will take me towards Dieppe and maybe a bit beyond before turning back.
But turn left, and I could visit ports in Belgium and Holland before turning back which is attractive as I can then say that I have sailed to three different countries, which would be a first for me.
Before deciding, has anyone had any red diesel problems in Belgium or Holland this year?
I am on a mere 26ft sailboat with just a small tank of the stuff, not a 40m superyacht.
