Heard yesterday that only 4 locks are left with Red Boards all others now on yellow. Can't for the life of me remember which were red lol but good news all the same.

Culham and Clifton still red this morning, the stream is still very strong and the air draft maybe a 10 inches above normal still.

Latest text sent to people who have registered with us:

Red boards Buscot to Iffley inclusive, plus Clifton. All others now yellow except Romney, Bell Weir and Molesey which have no boards.

Thanks Angela, how do you register for that service - can you do it on line or by text?

When I phoned the recorded message service this morning it was still quoting from Friday

Thanks
Nick

It's something that we've set up as a temporary measure because of the situation but we will look into using texts properly in future. At the moment, we have to copy all the numbers into an email (30 at a time!) which isn't terribly efficient. The EA has a service for flood warnings where you can register and it sends you info on particular rivers so I hope to be able to use that technology to set up something a bit more robust and reliable. If you want to get the remaining texts for this 'event', email your mobile number to visitthames@environment-agency.gov.uk and ask for thames updates.
