Sorry... Not exactly Motor Boat related but...

I just wanted to say what a fantastic display the Red Arrows did at Fowey yesterday. I couldn't go by boat because of my bad foot but I have to say that I had a great view from up the hill. They actually fly down the Polruan valley BELOW the top of the hill!

Anyone else there?

Yep, I've often thought of putting on a similar display. With some dye in the holding tank, different colour in the sink and another in the shower tray. Suppose I need some sort of floating paint, to make it really effective. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Next year Paul - no legs in plaster or shredded skin. We'll try to get the day off work and get down on the boats. We owe you a bottle of bubbles still after all! Glad you got out to see them - you'll be back out on the boat in no time I'm sure. And Hayden, I'd love to see you and Muckyfarter re-enact the red arrows! Some how the red moboes doesn't have the same ring, but would be well worth the trip to watch!

What you mean. Dont have the same ring to it. You've never seen M Farter in action. Now if I could convert the black smoke into red smoke, that would really look impressive.

Muckies a bit poorly at the moment, but under intensive care. Hopefully, she will be better soon.

Hah. We usually go down to Falmouth without the chart plotter, or GPS. Miss it completly , then have to go back a bit. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I haven't seen Muckyfarter, you're right, but we do look out for you around Plymouth. We posted a photo of rather a lot of smoke coming out of a boat the last time we went to Falmouth (easter this year) and asked whether or not it was you as you had mentioned you were heading that way. Cheaky I admit having not met you but you did mention the smoke thing yourself lol. I hope she gets well and is back in full health soon, smoking or otherwise /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. Thanks again for the passage tips. I've just finished plotting way points on the chart and working out the course between each. All this stuff with compases, dividers and portland plotters is great fun. The test will be whether or not I miss Falmouth!

Anyway, incase I'm accused of thread drift, aren't those red arrows just fantastic? /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
