Red And yellow boards

Hi Blackfeather,
Many fenders at a range of heights are good as are slack lines. You can find out from your nearest lock keepers if there has been a significant rise/fall in levels. (Try to avoid posting on The River Conditions thread as that is kept for change in conditions only). Try to monitor your boat when you can in bad weather. Good luck.

In view of the recent heavy rain, the Thames levels appear to be being controlled extremely well over the entire length. I do notice however that the levels for the Jubilee river at Taplow seem to be the highest ever. (Info from E.A. monitor stations)

Apparently there was a boat adrift in the Abingdon area this weekend.
I'm told that it crashed into the bank opposite the marina then carried on it way.

Not heard any more about it

I have.

Owner is aware and will retrieve it when safe to do so.

Was one upstream of mapledurham too ! Whenever there is strong winds and the river comes up boats always come loose.
