Recurring daydeam.....

Wonderful sunny spring day here in the Solent region. Problem is boat is in the car park and I'm at work.

But tomorrow, I get to visit Beta Marine and pick up my new engine :)

Its touching twenty degrees C here. Blue seas, even bluer sky with a few fluffy clouds and a moderate sailing breeze. The stumbling block is that I am in Cyprus for a few weeks and the boat is still N of Glasgow in the cold and wet and snow. :(

I s'pose you'd have us believe that you're on 'Adventurous Training' and that it's 'character-building'.....

Just for the record, we had blue skies here today 'with a few fluffy white clouds and a moderate sailing breeze'. It was, however, more like 2°C than 20°C.....

Sunny day, sluiceing along in me Albin Vega with the vane gear engaged sipping a cuppa tea in the hatchway......reality.its raining and cold....

And up here in Scotland we have a forecast for blue skies all week. Which is a shame because the Vega is on her trailer and I'm on the wrong side of the country. Nice weather is very distracting when you're trying to get some work done...

Today in Brttany ..... More blue skies, sunshine and a fair wind. Just right to do a bit of client work and a touch of maintenance on the boat. I feel so bad for you in the office. HONEST??

Lovely brisk sail in Plymouth Sound yesterday. Flat sea, wind SE about 15-18 knots, bright sunshine but COLD. Cup of tea and a bacon sarnie as well....
