Reconditioned cylinder head for a VP 2003?

Our Volvo Penta 2003 has a cracked cylinder head.....:(
Is it possible to source a reconditioned one or do we have to buy new?

Photo much clearer - yes, the crack is a bit of a big one. I think your best bet will be to source a donor engine, the 2003 being out of production for 20 years. If you can source a donor engine ( fortunately they are pretty common ), spend a bit of time decoking the head and you should be fine. You may even find a replacement better than the original. Check Westerly and Moody owners websites as they are common fit in these brands. In fact check out items 13&15 in link below. Might be worth a call
