I seem to remember that people have posted about obtaining reconditioned Raymarine equipment can anyone tell me if there is a web site with available equipment or do you just ring up and ask, if so is it the main UK number?

Thanks

AT the LIBS Raymarine were selling A65's at £745 with one Navionics card. I think I should have bought one, then I read about various bug fixes or updates recommended via a PC.
What's the problem if any? They may well still be available at the same price.

Jez, a great read! More haste less speed comes to mind!! Part 4?
Presumably "dropping into holes" stirs up all the rubbish in the tanks.
Where's the boat now?

Sorry, really should try to find Part 4 and add it to my signature. I did post it but in smaller bits. Basically we had an aborted second attempt in August 2006. The issue with the starboard engine was a weakening fuel pump and 6 hosing injectors - basically when the pump was hot it wasn't producing any pressure, but when it cooled down it would work. Second leg it got much worse, but the boat made it to Athens (just) where I officially gave up and had her shipped home from Piraeus. She arrived back in the UK in September, and after about 6 weeks of remedial work she was back on the water up the Hamble.

All is well now, and have done just over 20 hours since she has been back. looking forward to a good summer of boating, with a couple of cross channels and a west country cruise planned.

Thanks for the interest.

Peter
