Does anybody have any recommendations for suppliers of new foam mattresses and cushions? SWMBO does not wish to labour over a hot sewing machine, so it would need to be suppliers of the finished items, not just foam suppliers. The mattresses are, of course, not rectangular. We're based near Exeter, so somewhere south-westish would be preferred.

Not many replies, so I thought I would give it my best shot.

The Natural Mat Company whose factory is just outside Exeter make great mattresses, but I am not sure they do cushions. Office on their website is in London but worth a call. I visited the factory once. Good stuff.

Our cushions are from Lang and Potter in Plymouth. Also very good quality.

We have an 1100 pocket spring mattress with memory foam in our forecabin made by Hawke House Marine.
4 years on, its still brilliant, with removeable cover and breathing mesh fabric under. No condensation.
I have previously bought all our upholstery materials from HH, and their application advice has been second to none.

Try Jeckells. We saw them at the boat show and as far as I know they are national. They have a good reputation and the quote they gave us was competitive.

They had a local rep who came to see the boat and it was a lot more convenient than trekking round seeing other suppliers.

Just google 'Jeckells boat uphiolstery' and I'm sure you'll find them

We had a pocket sprung with memory foam mattress made for our main sleeping cabin in our boat a year or two ago. It is really really comfortable - and we have never slept better.

We have a layer of anti condensation matting underneath it which came as a boat show offer.

We got the mattress from: http://www.marinebedding.co.uk/boatMattresses.php

No connection except as a customer.

If you want all the normal bunk cushions etc replaced then we used Tremletts of Plymouth when we had the whole boat reuphostered a few years ago. They did all the headlinings as well and were neat and tidy and we chose the fabric for the cushions/mattresses.

Hawlk House

Inicially didn't want to mention Hawk House due to the distance from you, but seeing it's mentioned.

We used them last year and very happy we are too.

Very helpfull will also try to use the existing foam, we saved £260 by reusing the foam in the forcabin, he also bulking it up where need.

Being local, we were able to borrow his fitting tools.
