Having up-rooted the family to the US, the Mrs. has agreed to splash out on a Caribbean sailing break this Christmas. With the thought of rum punches on Christmas Day followed by some fresh fish from the coals I couldn't say no.
And a 3 hour flight due South to 25oC vs. 8 hours back to 0oC in the UK makes this seem eminently sensible.
As the US school system provides 2.5 months of re-connecting with our children [sic] it only gives 10 days holiday at Christmas, so ideally we don't want to have to spend a lot of time on connecting flights etc.
So, any recommendations for destinations / charter / flotilla (it would help keep the children, and hence the adults, happy).
Many thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.
