Not sure about a pilot book but the Drinking Mans Guide is popular.
Have a look on the BVI forum Here .
Check out the bottom of the list for trip reports and people talk.
A few locals onboard so if no pilot books turn up on a search a query usually elicits a quick response. Might even discover some people to look up whilst there.
if you are going with a good charter company, they will provide all you need - its a great cruising ground but the options of where to go are fairly limited
Have a look at "The Cruising Guide to the Virgin Islands" by Nancy and Simon Scott. Published by Cruising Guide Publications. ISBN 0-944428-63-0
This pilot is crap when compared to the Chris Doyle guides from the same company. The chartlets have a "treasure map" look. The shoreside detail is sparse as far as the regular cruiser is concerned, but fine for the bareboat charterer.
Personally. I'd clear out of the BVI PDQ and head over to the USVI and the Spanish Virgin Islands.
