Recommendation - Someone to install a planar heater in Falmouth area?

I'm after a recommendation please. Someone to fit a diesel heater system on my Hustler 30. Ashore in Falmouth area boatyard. I'll provide the kit, just need it fitted.

Thanks Sandy. I'm really looking for someone to come to the yard nr Penryn where my boat is and install it before relaunch in Apr.

I have had a supply and fit quote from Owen and may well go down that road in the end but having other quotes for the installation to compare in order to get the best deal can only be sensible I feel.

You may find it cheaper to buy the Planar heater elsewhere and pay someone to install it.

That's exactly why I'm looking at other options... I think it always It always pays to shop around a little.

Buy it yourself and fit it yourself as its not exactly rocket science is it, pick the right spot for the main unit and all electrical just plug together easily
plus there are at least a dozen video on You tube of fitting them with one good tip to make sure the intake air is from 'outside' the boat' not from the
inside area which will cause condensation as you will be just recirculating the same air.

Sourcing the best price on the kit is a Google click away. I just want to compare installation cost options so that I get the best solution for me. Yes I prob could fit it myself in the end but that would no doubt take longer than having someone with previous experience do it right first time. I am a 5hr drive each way from my boat and time off work is limited.

I have no dogs in the fight, I just want to find the most practical and appropriate solution for me in terms of cost, neatness and effectiveness of installation etc.

I don't have a preferred supplier; if I were in the market for one, I'd just compare prices, buy from whoever offered the best deal, and fit it myself.

According to Mr Google, a Planar 44D marine kit with 2 outlets currently costs £700 from Planar Heaters UK or £695 from PF Jones.

Here his a neat installation imo that allows user to heat their car and then carry the case to their boat / camper van / tent etc.
Means one do instal oneself and then take to boat?
