Recommendation please - West Coast of Scotland Pilot

Can anyone recommend a good pilot book for the West Coast of Scotland covering Mull of Kintyre to Oban? Particularly interested in the race around the Sound of Luing, Sound of Jura and round the Mull. Thanks

Spent last summer up there, was rained on consistently. Found the almanac was sufficient.

Have recent pilots books on board in Scotland. Happy to offer them for sale if you are interested. Up there in about 10 days to start a new season.

And very good they are too.

In addition there are the Admiralty Pilot Books, but they are usually denigrated as being only suitable for big ships. (Not always true; they have lots of information relevant to small vessels too.)

Aren't the Martin Lawrence's Yachtsman Pilot series updated nowadays? I see the ccc "incorporated" their content, but is everything there in the ccc version?

Martin gave the rights to the CCC as he has stopped updating which is why the CCC combined pilots are now published by Imray. All the same and updated info from both series.
