Recommendation for Peter Tanner

I've just had Peter Tanner Engineering of Totnes (01803864528) make up a 1.5 metre bit of 316 stainless pipe with a thread at the top for my new Navtex aerial. It cost £42. This compares with a clamp £12.50 and an 0.5 metre length of plastic pipe £37.50 from the local chandlery. I've had various boaty bits made there to my designs and they have all worked and been reasonably priced. I am just a satisfied customer.

Good to hear it. Nothing like being pleased with good work. My recommendation for any one in North Devon is Davis and Snell in Chivenor, Braunton, for exactly the same reasons.
