Recommendation for dinghy repair?

No .. it wasn't me ... I watched my boat hit broadside by a squall and tipped off it's trolley onto the concrete slip ... barepoles too! :(

Most of the damage is superficial scratching of the surface and I'd just polish it out ... unfortunately there is a split though ... so insurance job I think!

Anyway - normally I'd just take it back to the supplier (LDC) and get them to repair but fear they might take the rest of the sailing season to sort it ... so I'm after recommendations for a good repairer who can fix the hole and sort the gelcoat - preferably reasonably quickly ...

Area is Chichester - so anywhere between Southampton and Worthing really ...

I think Ashdown is who RS would send it to. They are said to be good, but when I was going to use them, they were very busy.

You could try Gavin who works at Trafalgar Wharf - the old shipyard site in Portchester, sorry I don't have a number for him but if you phone the office there and say you're after a rotund bloke called Gavin who mends boats, they will know.

I've seen some good work he has done.
